Richard Glatzel

Group CEO

Richard studied Mechanical Engineering at the ETH Zürich as well as Chalmers University of Technology and holds an MBA from INSEAD.

After starting his career with Bain & Company Richard joined AURELIUS in 2013 and since then held various positions in AURELIUS portfolio companies, besides other he served as Managing Director of LD Didactic GmbH and Senior Manager of Studienkreis GmbH.

In 2018 he became Managing Director of Calumet Photographic and in 2019 Chairman of the EIG Board of Directors in 2019.

Philipp Linge

Group CFO

Philipp studied Economics at the University of Bonn. He joined the European Imaging group in 2017 as the CFO for the Calumet and thereafter took over further responsibilities for logistics, IT and HR until 2021. Additionally, Philipp is a managing director of Sauter.

In 2021 Philipp became Chief Purchasing Officer for European Imaging Group and in 2022 Group CFO.

Philipp started his career as a management consultant in the Finance consulting practice of Deloitte and thereafter led the controlling department of a large German online gaming company. 

Louis Wahl

CEO Wex Photo Video, Director European Imaging Group

Louis holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science from Connecticut State University. He joined Wex as Chief Customer Officer in 2013, becoming CEO in 2018. During this time, he led Wex’s transformation into the UK’s largest specialist photo retailer thanks to a focus on customer needs, ecommerce, range expansion and great retail experiences.

Prior to joining Wex he held various roles, including:

• Head of ecommerce for Electrocomponents, the world’s largest B2B distributor of electronic components 
• Global Head of Online for The Folio Society, a preeminent publisher of fine illustrated books
• Marketing Director at Audible UK, a leading innovator of audiobooks
• Senior ecommerce and retail management positions at Bertelsmann and Waterstone's
