Sam Nicols
CEO
Sam has engineering degrees from UC San Diego and UC Berkeley, and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. After starting his career with Bain & Company, Sam joined Amazon, where he held various senior leadership positions, including Country Manager for Amazon Turkey and Director of Prime & Delivery Experience in Germany. In 2020, he became CEO of YT Industries, a global direct to consumer bike brand.
Since 2024, Sam has served as CEO of the European Imaging Group.
Richard Glatzel
Board
Richard studied Mechanical Engineering at the ETH Zürich as well as Chalmers University of Technology and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
After starting his career with Bain & Company Richard joined AURELIUS in 2013 and since then held various positions in AURELIUS portfolio companies, besides other he served as Managing Director of LD Didactic GmbH and Senior Manager of Studienkreis GmbH.
In 2018 he became Managing Director of Calumet Photographic and in 2019 Chairman of the EIG Board of Directors in 2019.
Philipp Linge
CFO
Philipp studied Economics at the University of Bonn. He joined the European Imaging group in 2017 as the CFO for the Calumet and thereafter took over further responsibilities for logistics, IT and HR until 2021. Additionally, Philipp is a managing director of Sauter.
In 2021 Philipp became Chief Purchasing Officer for European Imaging Group and in 2022 Group CFO.
Philipp started his career as a management consultant in the Finance consulting practice of Deloitte and thereafter led the controlling department of a large German online gaming company.
Frederik Lange
CEO Wex Photo Video
Frederik holds a double Master’s degree in Logistics from the Friedrich Alexander University in Nuremberg, Germany, and in Marketing from the business school EM Lyon in France.
He began his career in 2004 at SONY Electronics Europe, where he held various roles in Marketing & Sales at the company's European headquarters and in the local markets of UK and Germany. He advanced into senior leadership positions, including Business Unit Head for Digital Imaging and Sales Director for Sony Germany.
Since 2025, Frederik has joined the Board of Directors at EIG and is currently the CEO of WEX Photo Video in the UK.
Timo Voswinckel
CEO Calumet Photo Video
Timo holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from INSEAD. Timo began his career with McKinsey & Company, advising clients across retail, consumer goods, and private equity.
He then held executive roles at Callmobile and Tchibo, where he led international expansion, corporate strategy, and digital growth initiatives.
In 2016, he became Managing Director of JULIE & GRACE, transforming the company into a global multi-brand e-commerce jewelry player.
Since 2025, he has served as CEO of Calumet Photo Video.
